Golden mustard cream chicken casserole

This dish warms everyone in winter. A rich taste, creamy and it also looks realy stunning. From the BBQ or when the weather is really crappy, just shove the dish inside an oven. Also very tasty.

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 4 chicken breasts

  • 6 tablespoons Gold Rush (sprinkle a layer that covers the chicken)

  • 2 tablespoons mustard

  • 50 ml whipped cream

  • dried thyme

  • small packet of smoked bacon cubes or strips

  • a few cherry tomatoes

  • dash of white wine if desired (but also delicious without a back)

  • side dish: baked potatoes with grilled asparagus or steamed broccoli

Let's get to work!

  1. Turn on the bbq and let it heat up to 200 degrees celcius and prepare it for indirect grilling.

  2. Rub the chicken breasts with the mustard and then sprinkle with Gold Rush. A slightly thick layer. More than if you would sprinkle salt and pepper. Place the chicken breasts in a greased skillet (or baking dish if they just go into the oven) and pour in the whipped cream. Sprinkle some thyme over the top of the dish and then sprinkle the bacon cubes or strips loosely over it. Put the cherry tomatoes in between and pour a bit of wine if desired in it

  3. Put the skillet in the closable bbq for about 20 to 25 minutes. In the regular oven it takes about 20 to 25 minutes at 200 degrees celcius. Always check that it is cooked by turning over a chicken breast, cutting it in and pulling it open. If all the meat is white, it is completely ready!!!
